Natural burial grounds are spiritual places where friends and family can honour their dead. Visitors can stroll through the cemeteries' paths and walkways, acknowledging the lives celebrated, and final resting places marked with native trees, shrubs or small stones. In an eco-friendly building on the site, there could be descriptions of the ecology of the site, identification of its trees, shrubs and plants, and of the birds and butterflies that depend on this vegetation.

Through interactive stations set up in an eco-friendly building on the grounds, we envision people being able to learn about and appreciate the lives of the people buried at the site. Here, biographies, anecdotes, photographs, and video recordings of the individual could be preserved for friends, family and future generations.
